Why a browser tool beats a downloadable spreadsheet for setup

Common questions
›What's the catch?
There isn't one. Budgie is a tiny web app with no signup, no ads, and no server storage. If it ever adds paid features, the core planner and Excel export stay free.
›Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Every number you type is saved to your browser's localStorage on this device. It never touches a server. Clearing site data wipes it; use the Excel export as your backup.
›Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The layout works cleanly at phone widths. Rows collapse to a two-column planned/actual pair with a full-width progress bar underneath.
